Mr. Usman Khalid is a Director Operations at Ittehad Steel. He joined the business after graduation in 2003, learning the complex steel business from his father. As a Director Operations, he led the group’s expansion drive and was instrumental in setting up the group’s flagship expansion project, a 250,000 Metric Tonnes fully-automated, state-of-the art steel plant at Faisalabad, one of Pakistan’s largest and most sophisticated. He is a skilled industrialist, having vast experience in operational and strategic business development, and deep understanding of the day-to-day challenges faced by both small and large businesses. As an active member of Islamabad’s business community, he actively participates in the activities of the Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry and interacts with other businessmen to find solutions to and resolve the issues being faced by the business community, He sits on the Boards of various group companies.

Mr. Usman has been awarded the “Outstanding Performance Trophy FPCCI in recognition of his efforts in Islamabad’s steel industry by the President of Pakistan in year 2016.

Usman Khalid holds a Bachelors degree in BBIT from Curtin University, Australia.
