Ittehad Steel Industries has always aimed to be a part of projects that are for the greater good of the general public. To ease the traffic flow on some of the major routes in Islamabad at office and school timings, the project of 7th Avenue was undertaken. It was completed and opened for traffic in 2006. The 7th Avenue stretches from the Islamabad Zoo at the foothills of Margalla to the Kashmir Highway intersection. That’s a total length of 4 kilometers that facilitates thousands of commuters everyday. It has various underpasses and overhead bridges that provide exit from and entrance to the 7th Avenue, respectively, without any signals over the entire 4 kilometers.
