Mr. Khalid Javed entered the world of business after graduating from prestigious Gordon College, Rawalpindi in 1974. He joined the family timber trading business. A natural entrepreneur, he soon entered into steel trading and soon was entered steel manufacturing in the new capital of Islamabad in 1978.

He founded Ittehad Steel in 1986 in Islamabad, manufacturing mild steel bars. Over five decades in business, he has established truly outstanding conglomerate, spanning from steel to logistics, Real Estate, energy and construction. 

He is a celebrated industrialist and business leader who held the positions of President of Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry in 1995, and Chairman Pakistan Steel Re-rolling mills Association.
